COMSATS University of Science and Technology or CUST is a public sector university in Pakistan. It comes under the umbrella of Commission on Science and Technology for Sustainable Development in the South (Asia) or COMSATS, an international inter-governmental organization.
COMSATS Institute of Information Technology (CIIT) started its journey in 1998, and established its first campus at Islamabad in April 1998. In August 2000, in recognition of CIIT's achievements, the Federal Government granted it the status of a Degree Awarding Institute (DAI) through promulgation of its charter vide the Presidential Ordinance No. XXXVIII issued on 12 August 2000. CUST imparts education to over 18000 students nationwide.
CUST National Ranking
Comsats is ranked at 6th position in Pakistan, while in international ranking it has 2nd position. In the Engineering discipline according to the HEC ranking issued in 2010. It is ranked 1st in the Computer Science/IT category universities category, according to HEC rankings of 2012. In terms of research output during 2011, CUST has been ranked at No:2 among all Engineering/IT universities in Pakistan.CUST is overall ranked No:9 amongst all types of Higher Education Institutes in Pakistan according to HEC rankings of 2012.
COMSATS University
The Federal Cabinet of Pakistan charter for COMSATS University on Thursday, October 5, 2011, upgraded COMSATS Institute of Information Technology into a university. The charter for COMSATS university is in lines with the Model University Ordinance 2002.
CAMPUSES
CUST is an institution of higher learning with multi-campuses across the country. The CUST, besides its principal campus at Islamabad, has six other campuses at Lahore, Abbottabad, Wah, Attock, Sahiwal and Vehari, while more campuses are in the planning stage. On the advice of the Federal Government, efforts are under way to open an overseas campus in the Gulf region.

Gas Condensate Glycol Separator (Flash Tank) The gas condensate glycol separator also known as flash tank or glycol gas separator. Re-Generator (Method to Recovered Glycol from Water-Glycol Mixture) The re-generator is a combination of glycol re-boiler and the still column. They work together to regenerate rich glycol. Making it lean glycol and ready to use in the contactor column.  The re-boilers supply heat to separate glycol and water by simple distillation. Glycol is heated to a temperature between  380℉ to 400℉ (193℃ to 204℃) to removing up water vapor to regenerate the glycol to 98.5% to 90%. The temperature of TEG should not exceed 400℉ (204℃) because TEG will began to breakdown at higher temperature. Re-boilers can be direct fire (Nandpur Field) or heated by steam or hot oil.
